Fortnite removed from Google Play Store

After Epic Games modified the mobile version of its popular game Fortnite to bypass in-app purchases on both the App Store and Google Play Store. Apple removed the game from its marketplace. Fortnite is now also removed from Google’s platform.

This does not mean that the game is completely unavailable on Android devices. Unlike iPhones. There are many storefronts for apps on Google devices. Epic has its market place on the platform. Samsung also does on its line of Android phones and tablets. pde Fortnite is still available through these outlets.

    Google stated that the Android open ecosystem provides developers with opportunities to distribute applications through multiple application stores. as for game developers who choose to use the Play platform. It has consistent policies that are fair to developers and keep the store safe for users.
Fortnite is still available on Android, but it can no longer be made available on Play because it violates Google’s policies. However, Google would welcome the opportunity to continue its discussions with Epic and return Fortnite to Google Play.
 
  Apple and Google are reducing revenue by 30% on all purchases made across their platforms, including anything purchased in an app. Developer Epic Games has attempted to circumvent this costly revenue split by allowing players to purchase in-game V-Bucks directly from Epic, prompting this behavior at a 20% discount. This meant that Epic would receive a 10% increase in revenue from the previous ranking.
